Arsenal have been dealt a transfer blow before the summer market has even opened.
Ajax ace Nicolas Tagliafico, one of the stars of their Champions League run this campaign, has revealed he will NOT be quitting the club in the next window.
The Gunners have been plotting to sign a new left-back with Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolasinac neither at the elite level the club want as they attempt to get back amongst Europe’s elite clubs.
Tagliafico has been on their radar and also interested several other top sides thanks to his displays domestically and in Europe but has now revealed, via the club’s Twitter account, he will be remaining in Amsterdam for at least one more campaign.
“Hello fans, how are you? I want to tell you that I will stay for one more season. Hopefully it will be a great year, like it is this year. A hug to all of you,” he said.
