Vinnie Jones has called on Gareth Bale to leave Real Madrid and return to the Premier League to escape his ‘disgraceful’ treatment in Spain.
The Welshman’s future at Madrid looks bleak after he was an unused substitute for the 2-0 defeat to Real Betis on Sunday.
Zinedine Zidane has reportedly told Bale he will be frozen out unless he leaves this summer and, after the defeat, the Frenchman admitted he ‘did not know’ whether the winger had player his final match for the club.
Jones suggests the whole affair stinks of ungratefulness.
“I think it’s pretty disgraceful. He’s been fantastic over there,” the footballer-turned-Hollywood star told talkSPORT.
“He’s given his all for the club and now he’s thrown out the door.
“It’s a lonely spot. I saw a picture of Gareth sitting on the bench on his own. It’s demoralising and it just doesn’t seem fair to me.

“I’d love to see him back in the Premier League.
“Come home, Gareth! We’re all waiting for you. Don’t worry about it, son.”
Bale is constantly linked with Manchester United and Tottenham – however reports suggest the 29-year-old, who earns £15million a season, is happy to see out the remainder of his contract and ‘play golf’.
But Jones insists it’s not that simple.
“I don’t know how long you can sit on the bench and be ostracised,” he added. “I found it very hard at Leeds.
“You have to go to the ground and have players and supporters coming up to you. I think it’s about playing football.

It's hard to see Milwall doing much better next season unless they recruit well in key areas around the field, therefore it looks likely that they're in for another relegation battle next season. Reading finished last season on 47 points in 20th place, 7 points above the relegation zone under Portugese manager Jose Gomes.
