Gareth Southgate has chosen to bench the seven Tottenham and Liverpool stars who played in the Champions League final five days ago, with the possibility of a final against Portugal on Sunday.


Jordan Henderson lifted the famous trophy alongside Liverpool team-mates Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez, as defeated Spurs players Eric Dier, Danny Rose, Dele Alli and Kane watched on at the Wanda Metropolitano.


The Netherlands, on the other hand, have thrown Virgil van Dijk and Georginio Wijnaldum straight back into the action.











Barcelona-bound Frenkie De Jong and sought-after Ajax defender Matthijs De Ligt were also included a strong Dutch side.
