Manchester United fans have had a sinking feeling supporting their team for quite some time, especially over the last couple of months.
After a positive start to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s tenure, performances petered out somewhat towards the end of the season – with the Red Devils consequently failing to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
Kohler, who have an agreement to sponsor United’s shirt sleeves worth around £20m per season, according to SportsPro, announced the new product on Twitter on Monday evening.
However, the news did not go down well with supporters on social media, with one user claiming ‘the club is already down the drain’ on Twitter.
Another wrote: “Can you do a toilet to represent the current state of the club? As a Manchester United fan, if I ever need kitchen/bathroom products, I will definitely go out of my way to NOT buy any Kohler products. Hope others would do the same.”
“Worse squad in decades, Not splashed any cash yet. Let that sink in,” added one fan called Khaled.
While @Dave_Mufc commented: “The only silverware we are seeing anytime soon.”
Needless to say Kohler will give it a second thought before any future United collaborations.
