Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong expressed his frustration as Everton led the Gunners 1-0 in Sunday’s Premier League clash.
Frimpong, who came through the north Londoners’ academy before making 16 first-team appearances, remains a loyal supporter of the club he joined aged nine.
But he was not happy with the Gunners on Sunday afternoon.
Unai Emery’s side visited Goodison Park knowing a defeat of Everton would move them into third place in the Premier League, ahead of local rivals Tottenham.
A victory would also send Arsenal three points clear of Chelsea in fifth and five points clear of Manchester United in sixth in the fiercely contested battle for a top four finish and Champions League qualification.

Things did not get off to a particularly good start, however, with Phil Jagielka firing the Toffees in front inside the opening 10 minutes.
And it wasn’t as if Marco Silva’s side scored against the run of play, as Everton were by far the better team throughout the first half.
Their players were first to every ball and won every 50-50, and Frimpong reacted at half-time to criticise Arsenal’s stars for not being as motivated as their opponetns.
“I swear I can always take Arsenal losing games,” he wrote on Twitter, “but I always get angry when I see the other team want it more than us.
“Can never take that s***.”
The goal Arsenal conceded extended their run of failing to keep a single clean sheet away from home all season.
Frimpong expressed his frustrations at half-time of Sunday’s match, and he is sure to have been just as annoyed when the final whistle went as Everton held on to secure a 1-0 win that meant Arsenal failed to take advantage in the battle for a top four finish.
Cristiano Ronaldo once again proved to be the hero for Portugal with a hat-trick against Switzerland in the first ever Nations League semi-final. England and the Netherlands will have watched in fear as, after a largely anonymous game, the Juventus striker somehow managed to leave with the match-ball.
