Spurs claimed a place in the final four of Europe̢۪s elite competition thanks to their incredible triumph over Manchester City in the last round.
Ajax, meanwhile, have been superb in seeing off Real Madrid and Juventus in the knockout stages so far.
Mauricio Pochettino has said his side are ‘living a dream’ to be playing a tie like tonight’s and he’ll be eager to gain the advantage ahead of next week’s trip to Holland.

Tottenham vs Ajax: What time does kick off?
The Champions League semi-final first-leg will take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Tuesday, April 30 with kick off at 8pm.
The return leg in Amsterdam will be played on Wednesday, May 8 with kick-off at the same time.
This will be just the third meeting between the two famous clubs following their clash in the 1981/82 Cup Winners’ Cup.
Spurs won that first round tie 6-1 on aggregate with Mark Falco scoring three times across the two ties.
