Wolanski has since gone to be an internet sensation, picking up millions of followers on her Instagram page.

And it seems as though former Liverpool striker Aldridge has joined in the fun.

He shared a picture of the pitch invader running past Liverpool’s Dutch defender alongside the words: ‘One and only person to get past Van Dijk this season’.

He tweeted the picture with the caption: “Never a truer statement.”

The Dutchman has been phenomenal for the Reds this season as they won the Champions League, with a 2-0 win over Tottenham.

An incredible stat about Van Dijk emerged following that final which illustrated just how good he has been.

No one has dribbled past the defender in his last 64 games for Liverpool, the stat the picture was in reference to.
