Liverpool and Tottenham will lock horns for the third time this season in the Champions League final – The Reds have won both home and away in the Premier League against Spurs this term.

Both teams have enjoyed stunning routes to the final, with the Merseysiders beating Barcelona and Bayern Munich while the north Londoners have seen off Manchester City and Ajax in pulsating matches.

But this is Liverpool’s second shot at the European title in two years, having lost to Real Madrid in the Champions League final last season.

And Mane, speaking to talkSPORT’s Ian Abrahams ahead of Saturday’s clash, insists the players are out to make amends.

Asked if they feel it is destiny for the Reds to win the club’s sixth European Cup, the winger said: “I think, yeah. It’s a good sign for sure.

“After the first leg of the Barcelona game, nobody didn’t expect us to get through and we did it.

“So we have a chance and we will fight for it.
